New 3D printing and soldering gear at brainsilo!

Hey everyone, quick announcement.  Brainsilo now has a high end soldering station equipped with a nice iron and reflow tool capable of working on surface mount boards, as well as a new 3D printing station.  Members may come and use anything there 24/7 and non members can come check it out during our Thursday open house nights.  Unfortunately I won't be able to make it tonight, but hopefully another member will be there to unlock the door at 7.

quite coincidental too, I am in need to 'reflow' a chip from my monitor in the hopes of bringing it back from the dead... this forum post explains how people have fixed my same monitor issues I am experiencing using a reflow process, but thing is I've never done anything like that before. would someone be willing to demonstrate the basics of using the reflower device? (too bad I can't make it tonight, hopefully on a wednesday I'll be able to check it out)
