I found the planer broken earlier this week.  The belt that drives the cutter head was shredded so it was feeding but not cutting.  I've ordered a replacement which will go to my house around Nov 21st but I will be out of town.  It was only about $20 so if someone is in a hurry, it might make sense to order another.  Spares are good!

Replacement belt is already here, taped to the machine.

I feel like a huge idiot right now but I’m just not seeing it. What am I missing? It is not clearly in the floor around it either.

Jon thinks the belt is somewhere else and is going to install it soon.  If not, I will install it on Thursday night.
