Hi folks,

In case you haven't heard, with the abandonment of the Open Internet
Rules at the FCC last month, there has been a ground swell of support
for publicly owned telecommunications infrastructure in Portland.
This is an issue that the Personal Telco Project has been agitating
for pretty much from the get-go, at the beginning of the millennium.

There is a broader community forming around this issue at
municipalbroadbandpdx.org.

If you would like, we'd be happy to arrange speakers for your groups
on this subject. We need to make sure elected officials hear that
this is an important issue that they should be addressing seriously.
