Hi Everyone
I've been working pretty non stop trying to find someone (fairly local to SE Portland) who might be willing to board a pygmy goat for me. So far, I haven't had much luck. Our yard is just too small. So I'm just checking in again, to see if anyone has any ideas. I'm wanting a pet/4H project for my daughter. I'm hoping to find a situation where I could exchange board for labor, but I would be willing to pay a small amount.
Money is tight with 4 kids though, so I would rather do kind of a working swap.
Thanks!
Cris

I might be willing to board a goat.  We would mostly want someone to care for our goats while we were out of town in exchange.  We live out in Oregon City and just got our first 2 goats about a month ago.  They could use another friend and we certainly have the space to spare with 2 very weedy back acres.  We have kids too so I understand the money issues.

That sounds great! I would love to come meet you sometime that's good
for you, and have you meet us. I'm leaving tomorrow to go visit my Dad
in VT for a week, but would love to talk when I get back. Thanks so
much for considering us! I'll be in touch late next week.

Great!  Give me a call when you get back in town and we'll talk in greater detail.
