Howdy folks,

I would really like the next PDX Git Together meeting to be about the
different kinds of workflows that people use and implement at their
jobs or in open source projects.

Who would like to present to the group? A 15 minute description from a
few different people would make for a nice meeting and showcase the
flexibility of Git and how it can be bent in many different
directions. Some workflow "flavors" that would be nice to hear about
are Github PRs, Gerrit patchsets, Git flow, interesting branching
structures and emailed patchsets. I am sure there are many others!

Alternatively, if you have a Git-related talk that you would like to
present, please suggest that as well!

Please cross-post this to any lists that you think would be
interesting in presenting.

Thanks!

Duke

Howdy,

Somebody mentioned that the PDX Git meeting was not on Calagator yet,
so I fixed that:

I could give a short talk about the workflow I've designed for publishing Inform 7 code on Github, and how I implemented it. It obviously isn't something anybody is likely to use directly, but it might help a little to see one way to do workflow design and implementation.

Alternatively, I could give a short talk about some more generic shell scripts I've created for dealing with single-person small repo workflows.

Or not. LMK.

Howdy,

Awesome, Bart! Hearing a little bit about each would be great. I have
updated the Calagator description here:

Feel free to modify it to your liking.

I could throw together a 10-15 bit on our small team's workflow. We use Atlassian Stash, so it might be a rare look at an alternative to github. :)
