Introducing myself

[Michelle Rafter]

Hi: My name is Michelle Rafter and I'm a Portland business & tech
reporter. Carolina Velis with Women Who Tech recommended joining this
group as a way to get to know women in the tech field here. I'm an ex-
newspaper reporter now covering a variety of tech and business issues
for magazines and websites including Oregon Business, Portfolio.com,
IncTechnology.com, and CBS' soon-to-launch MoneyWatch.com. I also blog
about writing at WordCount: Freelancing in the Digital Age. You can

I'm hoping to make it to SearchFest in March. I worked at the Orange
County Register with Danny Sullivan back in the 90s before he left &
became a search guru. He'll be the keynote speaker at SearchFest.
