Meeting schedule

Based on the survey results, our meeting schedule will be as follows:

The practice group will meet on first and third Mondays, 6:30-8:30pm at the Collective Agency Downtown, 511 SW 10th Ave, Portland, OR, in the 12th floor conference room, which is the opposite side of the floor from the elevators, behind the glass door with the Fire Escape sign. The first meeting will be on December 3rd. We will be studying Pearls of Functional Algorithm Design by Richard Bird. Please read the first two chapters of the book prior to the meeting.

The theory group will meet on second and fourth Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm at Collective Agency Division, 3050 SE Division St, Portland, OR, in the 2nd floor conference room, which is near the lobby and is mostly windows. There is an elevator available as well. The first meeting will be on December 13th (or, see below). We will be studying Logic and Proof. Please read the first two chapters before the meeting.

Point of discussion: What do you think about having the first theory meeting on November 29th? It’s the fifth Thursday. It wouldn’t normally fit the schedule, but if we do that, we can have two meetings of each group before the holidays.

December 3rd is a Sunday. I think you meant the 4th.

I'm neutral on whether to start the theory group earlier on November 29th.

Huh. I thought I already sent this, but I must not have.

I think you're having calendar issues and meant the fifth Wednesday for 29 November. :) I'm open to meeting then.

With respect to 29 November, I think you mean fifth Wednesday. :) That would work for me.
