If you know anyone who wants to learn to write code, they should check this site out. I love the concept and execution. A bit too low level for us, but damn cool site nonetheless.

Yes I agree. Great execution! I wish I had this way back when. I hope this model can scale into more difficult subjects.

I get a blank page on this link. If I correct the obvious misspelling, I get a page that makes me feel less than comfortable -- how to quite smoking; apparent offers to sell stuff.

I'd blame your email program for that one. I tried pasting the link directly into IE7, IE9 and Chrome and got the correct page. Well, it was IE7 mode from IE9, that could be it, but seems like a longshot.

Works fine for me too.  ...and yeah, Codeacademy is pretty awesome.  :)

IE8 fails even when pasting for me.  Chrome is fine, and the site seems believable when reached that way.  Yes, it does start in the sub-basement, but a great concept.  It isn’t too tolerant when you stray.  I tried this when it really wanted me to do 2+2.  But I like it that it gave me an answer before telling me what an idiot I am.
