Hey simple I saw the same paintings over seas for $15.. are you stupid
enough to try and rip people off?
people who reply for no reason (simplesales , 5:55)
people who reply for no reason, for the life of me i do not
understand why people respond to a post here or
any newsgroup for that matter for no more reason than to tell you that
you are stupid for what you posted i guess its
human nature for some to send unwanted email to you.....not responding
out of intrest just to spew trash at you......well i'm not going to try
to under stand it......small minds generate small actions and there
surprised when you respond back to what they have said to you.....well
below you see ...if you care what started this.....he does not even read
that if you buy 30 paintings there 3.50 each
to the posting police in portland.....you need to get a life and let
others live theres this is the US of A and i'll post anywhere i like
i live in oregon by the way and i have even posted in hawaii
god bless ya :)
I've had dealings with Mr Brown also and consider him a dishonest jerk.
He agreeed to buy some computer parts from me and said in an e-mail the
check would go in the mail the next day. I packaged up the parts to
mail to him but the check never arrived. There was no response to my
e-mails asking for a clarification of his intentions. I would advise
anyone to not deal with this person.

It's generally considered more polite to send these things privately
rather than publicly (ie, email rather than newsgroup article). Yes,
people who take it upon themselves to correct your behavior and or
pricing can be a pain in the nether regions...
Consider instead that they (in their own way) are trying to help.
They see that your price is too high, and are trying to tell you so so
that you can successfully sell your item. For some this is even true.
But if you treat all the people who send you private messages as if
this was true, you can have a much more relaxed and stress-free life.
Just ignore the folks whose opinion you don't respect, and set up your
email program to automatically route messages from these people to the
trash, and you don't even have to read it.
So, let's see, it's your contention that you have the right to shit in my
living room, but if I complain about it , I should get a life?
Typical spammer mentatility.

Oh, but Jon, didn't you know that eBay is noncommercial, and so it's perfectly
all right for eBay spammers to try to rip off Portlanders?
That seems to be the gist of the pro-eBay posters, anyhow.
