My Honda Accord seems to burn oil. After 1500-2000k miles, my brand new
spark plugs look like h*ll. Although they are not black AND oily, I
suspect my car is burning oil. The plugs are black, but not oily.
At any rate, what can I do to eleviate this problem. The car is a high
mileage auto. 167k miles. I am sure that the engine needs to be
rebuilt.
In the mornings, espicially when it is cold, my car spews out a large
blue cloud of smoke. Once it has warmed up, it doesn't appear to burn
any more oil. So, is there an oil additive that works?
