If you are out shopping for homes I am sure you have read the
overblown descriptions of what's for sale and probably laugh and
wonder who writes the descriptions once you have viewed the
properties.

If you're looking for "something special", your very own park in the
middle of paradise, something very few people can claim as "home" then
you have found the right property. Remember, looks can be deceiving so
read on and be surprised by what this .8 of an acre overlooking Cougar
Creek and greenbelt has to offer to your family besides the best
school district in Clark County. I can list the amenities but only a
tour will do this beautiful small country estate the justice it
deserves. For an appointment you MUST be a "Pre-qualified Buyer" with
a letter from your bank/mortgage company or contact: Jason Wissmiller
@ Mortgage Market (360) 260-2317 or (503) 283-1444 to become
pre-qualified.

As an interior designer I just could not leave well enough alone with
the 1702 sq. feet this home had when we purchased it. So, in 4 1/2
years of ownership we have transformed the home and added over 800 sq.
ft. to make 2560 sq. ft. We began by adding a large Media room with a
built in "BOSE" surround sound system and 50" television (can be
purchased with home) all housed in gorgeous custom cabinetry designed
with bookcases, storage galore and even drawers designed to hold VCR
tapes & CD's. I also designed in a sunken pit for the remote
controlled gas fireplace with a picture window above to view the
waterfall. This room has white tile both on the floor and counters and
plush dark green carpet and a large hobby area with all the cabinets
to house whatever hobby suits you. It also has a wet bar along with a
decorated vaulted ceiling which is truly one of a kind. To say this
house has all the bells and whistles would be an understatement. And
to top it all off this beautiful room has french doors leading out to
the STREAM/ 4,000 gallon KOI POND/GAZEBO and all 1400 sq. ft. of
decking both on the upper and lower levels overlooking Cougar Creek.

The kitchen is part of the GREAT ROOM and has buttercup yellow
lacquered cabinets, some with glass doors and also has open shelving
for those lovely's you want to display. Adjacent to the kitchen is
what used to be the family room and is now our huge dinning room and
also in this room is a sitting area overlooking the decks and has a
view. The floors in this room are a warm ginger colored wood plank and
it also has a remote controlled gas fireplace surrounded by green
marble and a white mantle.

The living room has a vaulted ceiling and indirect lighting and also
french doors leading out to an enclosed 12 X 19 deck which could be
used year round. This deck is connected to an outdoor living room with
a view, raised on a platform which also serves as the roof top of the
8 X 13 workroom underneath which has a view overlooking the hillside
and creek. The living room in front overlooks a 12 X 25 water garden
beside the red brick walkway to the front door.

The second bedroom, which also serves as our library, has a full wall
of white lacquered cabinets with a built in TV compartment and
drawers/bookshelves and which connects to the new 11 X 17
greenhouse/sunroom/4th bedroom which overlooks the water garden on the
front of the home. This is as yet unfinished as it has just been
added, so you're in luck, you get to say where the plant tables and
sink get placed, or make it into your dream room.

The master bedroom suite has a jetted tub, 2 sinks atop a 7 1/2 ft.
foot long cabinet with loads of storage, gold fixtures and a dressing
room and walk in closet.

The third bedroom is our home office and also has art shelves on two
walls.

The laundry room is not grand but it beats going to the Laundromat.
<grin>

The garage is a standard garage but not for long since I have had the
frame work installed for another room which I was going to use for my
exercise equipment and stained glass workshop with a kiln. Those studs
can be taken down if you are into putting your cars to bed at night,
or you can finish the room to suite your needs still leaving a lot of
space for "garage and boy things". (The 2-wheeled "Scooter" that
lives there now will be moving with us)

Oh, talking about storage, did I mention the room under the kitchen
that we use for storage? It's huge..... Did I also forget to mention
the storage area under the upper decking that could house a small
furniture companies "stuff"? Or the storage area under the other deck
where we keep our cement mixer and "stuff"? Or the 4 X 8 shed down on
the lower level by the beautiful little lawn I just had put in under
the apple tree and party deck. Oops, forgot to tell you about the pump
house and central reporting security system. I am sure there is
something I must have missed but I will let you be the judge and
discover the wonders of this lovely home with privacy other's can only
wish for.

And to top off all the amenities we also have many beautiful deer
which visit. They are spoiled but we do not feed them in the summer
months. A nice salt block down on the hillside will keep them happy.
Oh, BTW, the pond is built in, but the Koi move with us.
