Hello All, are there any members of the group actively using Tableau?
I searched the threads and did not see any references to Tableau. I am
in the process of researching it for my company and would love some
local feedback on the product.

best regards,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,

We use it here at Periscopic (http://periscopic.com). I'd be happy to
answer some questions if you need.

Kim,

I'm glad you replied to this. I wanted to ask if you'd like to do a
demo of State of the Salmon at the Data Viz meetup on Nov 3rd and also
maybe a short demo of Tableau? The presentation times are in 10 minute
slots, but you can take longer if you want to demo both Tableau and
SotS.

I'm interested in seeing Tableau as well.  Thanks, Ben.

Hi Kim & Amber: thanks for the followup. Would love to see a Kim show
us what its all about in November...

Kim, I just looked at the State of the Salmon on Periscopic. Its
amazing, very inspiring! If I could do a tenth of that with my data I
would be pleased.
- best, Duncan

Hi Amber,

Yes, I would love to present State of the Salmon at the meetup! I
could also do a presentation of Tableau. Thanks for asking me.

Can you provide details yet on when and where?
