Hello,
everyone I know thinks that Calagator is a fantastic events aggregator. My friends and I from Davis, Ca( a UC college town) are thinking about implementing it for the town of Davis, and we're wondering if anyone has been successful at scraping events from other event calendar sites/services(like meetup, google cal, iCal). We want to be able to establish a comprehensive event aggregator that's absolutely free for people to use for all types of events.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

We do have support in Calagator for importing events from Meetup, and from iCalendar files (Google calendar and others). Let us know how we can help you get started.

Cheers,

Calagator imports events from iCalendar (including Google Calendar), hCalendar, Meetup, Facebook and Plancast. It's fairly easy for someone that knows Ruby to add more parsers so you can import from more sources.
