Hi Calagatorfolk,
I'm planning to be out working on Calagator tomorrow and would love
your company and help if you happen to be free. More specifically,
I'll be at Cloud Seven Cafe [ http://www.cloudsevencafe.com/ ]
starting at around 10am working on updating the Calagator codebase to
work under Rails 3. If you've got experience with Rails 3 migrations,
that would be especially useful, but feel free to show up if you want
to work on other Calagatory tasks too. You can also show up and hang
out and work on unrelated things, I suppose.
Email me if you've got any questions.
Cheers,
Reid

send Reid's original message through, so I sent along a copy instead.

Rats, I wish I could join you -- I was exploring this myself this
evening. Audrey and I are planning to work on other stuff at the same
time that's hard to colocate with hacking. We'll probably be able to
join you for lunch and then again later in the day, after 5pm-ish.

As for other tasks, it'd be great if folks could look at my
"with_xss_protection" and "with_vagrant" branches in the main
repository. The code and documentation for these is done, they're just
waiting final review. The "with_xss_protection" branch is a big deal
because it modifies a lot of code to properly sanitize data going in
and out of the system, which we've been struggling with for years. The
"with_vagrant" branch significantly simplifies the setup of the
development environment, you basically fire up a virtual machine and
everything's there. Anyway, if anyone's interested, take a look at the
commits on these branches and the related messages in the "calagator-
development" mailing list at http://groups.google.com/group/calagator-development/

Thanks,

-igal
