I wanted to say the MapLibre talk had perfect timing, because it helped me get a MapLibre map on the
foss4gna.org website and will also be used for the OSGeoUS website revamp that is in the works! It is super basic still, but better than the built in Google Maps option from Squarespace.
The QGIS US group has an online meeting at 9am May 19th next week. Guest speaker is Saber Razmjooei, a co-founder of Lutra Consulting in the UK. Lutra Consulting has been a main driver for many new features to QGIS and also the company behind Mergin Maps. The meeting link is on the announcement on the website. No way to sign up to get reminded, unfortunately.
The FOSS4G North America Community planning group meets at 10am May 19th, if you want to get involved with conference planning! More information is available in the Community channel on Slack. I believe there is also a Program meeting later that day too, if that is more your interest. The Call for Proposals is out and some have already come in for people to start reviewing.
Slack Invite The plan for May 27th is still people showcasing their current projects? I presented on my Linux and GIS adventures at the GIS in Action conference and told everybody I could about the May 27th meeting, so hopefully there are some new faces, I say as still a new face myself.
