Fwd: PDX GIS Day table set-up

Roll call and last minute ask:

• volunteers
• laptops
• demos
• monitors
• cables
• banner?

From the organizers:

We have 10 tables ready for our sponsors - there are some 5' and 6' foot tables available and this year we have tables set up on both sides of the room (where the presentation is held) so that there is a little more space to navigate through all the tables. Tables will be the only things we have available for all the sponsors, so please bring all the things you need for your display and/or activity. I already suggested that one group bring an extension cord/surge protector because I am not 100% sure where the outlets are relative to each table.
Set-up time is between 5-6pm. The event starts at 6pm. We have volunteers that will be there during that time to help with setup, so don't be shy to ask people for help if you need it - that's what they are there for!

I’ll bring monitor, cables and stickers. If I can find one, will bring a banner/table skirt.

Thanks everyone for helping make a great event! What a great talk by Julie inspiring everyone to embrace open source and the communities that support it. I sent a thank you to folks who left there email with us there. Is it possible for them to join the mail list on their own or do they need to contact someone in charge of the List Group?
