Hi all, thanks again for the feedback on my spatial machine learning on wildfires talk last month, and the anticipated one this week where I apply it to coastal landslides in Lincoln and Tillamook counties.
See you Wednesday! With pizza! 😁👍
Some folks were interested in trying out my port of Occam, called PyOccam, and I sent out the link last month. However, I was sharing PyOccam with another colleague the other day and realized that the .help() command was broken, which led to a cascade of about 7 hours of debugging and adding features! 🤪
The new version of PyOccam 0.9.5 (getting closer to a 1.0 release!) is available on PyPi and it has a new feature that converts CSV files, and some better demos of how to work with your own data.
From a Python prompt:
pip install pyoccam
Try it in Colab or another notebook environment, the .ipynb demos are kinda cool!
Cheers,
Percy
