Procession route update

Hi everybody! We now have 28 members of our mailing list. Every day or two an email comes in to in...@pdxdayofthedead.org expressing enthusiasm and asking how to get involved. I tell them the first thing to do is join this list.
Personally, I'm just getting my head back into this project after spending the last 10 days at an urban retreat. I will write more soon on how to get involved with the procession and altars. In the mean time, I want to pass along a piece of good news about the procession route.
When we met on 9/1, we talked about having an informal procession (i.e. no permit due to the street closure) that assembled at Onda. But it was kind of a bummer to think of shortening the procession that much. So I talked to Emily, the manager at the Alberta Co-op, and she gave us the OK to use their parking lot to assemble.
So, unless somebody objects, my next step will be updating the flyers and website to say "Gather in the Alberta Co-op parking lot." I'm planning on having flyers printed in time for flyering the Street Fair in skeleton face on Saturday -- more on that soon!
