you see the ad in Willamette week today?! All systems go

Stephanie - I was talking to Allen at Onda gallery.  It appears that the Mexican Consulate is also building an altar there, and there will be performers reading and singing homages to ancestors, as well as satryical pieces about politicians and celebrities.  Their altar will be right across the gallery from ours.  I am very excited about this new development!
 
He mentioned you had a link to a florist who may be able to provide flowers for the altars.  We would like to keep refreshing the flowers every week for Doy Gracias, so if you have a someone local we can work with that would be great.
 
We also need more people to act as press corps - does anyone have a video camera to tape the performances at Onda?  That would be much appreciated.  Vince and I will be taking photos anywhere we go.

Must have just missed you, we were at Onda ,and all the businesses on
alberta yesterday. and heard the news,,wonderful .I want Alan to get
the onda info on the website, hope people see the Willamette week ad,
came out yesterday!!!!!!!!
Flowers: I get a one time donation on Thursday, last year it was quite
substantial, I bring them to the Guardino parking lot and will take
some to Onda and the rest to the coop to hand out in the procession. I
urge you to call around some people are delighted to donate discards,
they really are fresh.
Dont know anyone with a video camera, I'll be doing the procession and
then at the gallery....

I did see the ad (inside back page) -- it looks great! Thanks to you and Donna for doing it.

When to contact Last Thursday is up to you. (Queer Magic Cauldron is donating $150, and I'll kick in $50 personally.) If you wait until after the event, we can pass buckets at the altar space and add another couple hundred bucks.

   Nice seeing you today!  We got the show hung and altar set up, the art is so good this year, meaningful,  excited for thursday, I'll let them know we are going to make the donations to keep  the good will.
