Helping a mom and 3year old in need this holiday

Hello community,

I know in the past we have helped out families for Christmas and I wanted to give another opportunity this year.

I’m helping a woman and her 3 year old son buy housing them in my cabin this year. She has very little and is trying to get on her feet.

I asked her for a list of things and this is all she gave me:

-warm pants for toddler (3 years)
-warm socks (size 7,5)or hat for mom :)

I know for a fact she needs financial help, a job and help with child care.

She is a beautiful soul and all her family lives in Spain. She can’t go home because of her child and his father is here:(

Hey Cobalt, we can help with some pants and socks for sure.  Is he a size 3?  Do you know when his birthday is?  You should give me a call and we can try to figure out if he can qualify for a Head Start or Early Head Start program.  This would provide her with some childcare and they can probably help her find some other resources as well to get her back on her feet.
