Friends!
The time is upon us for a final rally for KMHD. Last night the MHCC board had a work session which was largely dedicated to reviewing the looming decision about the station.
There were reporters there and you can read there coverage HERE and HERE
The good news: All of the pushback, emails, advocacy, and logical facts have had a tremendous impact on the decision makers and their faith is wavering.
The uncertain: Board members Kenny Polson and Tamie Arnold still hold firmly to the idea of bringing the station back to MHCC. And though many influencers at the college have expressed grave concerns about bringing the station back, it is not guaranteed how the board will vote.
TAKE ACTION:
1) Emails Work - Send a final round of emails reiterating your support for the station to remain with OPB.
Email addresses
2) Share widely - Please post and share the above articles on your social media - with a call to action for people to email the board. And, otherwise connect to people you can call on to spread the word and send an email.
3) Attend the board meeting on Wed March 20th at 6:30 pm
This is when they'll vote. We'd like to flood the place with support. Public statements can be made, but just as importantly, a show of force hovering in the room as they publicly make their vote is very important. We aim to pack the place. The agenda will be posted
here shortly.
