Hi carfree-ers,

Last November I planned to talk at the CFHH about my experience at Towards Carfree Cities IX in York. That happy hour turned out to be pretty small so not many people got the chance to hear about and discuss TCC.

Now that dates are established and registration is open for TCC X in Guadalajara, I was thinking maybe we could set up another opportunity to discuss TCCs of the past and future. I'd be delighted to get another chance to share my experience, and would also love to hear from Elly about TCC in Portland, from Steph about.World Carfree Network in the Americas, and maybe even hear from Ryan about Guadalajara, if they're interested in sharing.

The happy hour for this month would normally be next week, which doesn't work for me, so I'd propose March 17th instead.

Suggestions, agreements, conflicts?

Alexis

I will try to be there! Thanks for getting this going again. I'll even try to promote it.

Sounds Great! Thanks for getting this going Alexis.

It would be great to hear more about your experience in York and Elly
and Steph's experiences with the Portland Conference and the Americas
network. I would love to share our Guadalajara experiences.

Free as a bird March 17 at present and would be thrilled to have an opportunity to hear Alexis' recap of York. Would also be great to hear Ryan's thoughts on the venue for TCC X, Guadalajara!

Cheers,

Glad to hear all the interest! Let's say it's on, and I'll try to send
out a couple reminders in the week before.

Apparently I was not clear enough, and confused more than one person...sorry!

To clarify: The proposed TCC-related carfree happy hour is NOT
HAPPENING TONIGHT.

It's happening MARCH 17, one month from today.

If you wanted to meet tonight, go to the WPC Gala instead! They have
free beer & wine. :)

Now I'm confused. Stephanie aren't you going to be at the WPC event tonight?  Seems like a lot of people will be there.
