Photoshop & Illustrator: Share and Ask - MONDAY Jan 9
Every other month we have general conversation instead of a presentation.

BRING INFO TO SHARE. It's likely you have, at least, a favorite web site for inspiration, tutorials or downloads! Bring your questions, samples of your work, info on your favorite plug-ins, stock image sites, etc. Get inspiration and answers from your peers.

No one will be required to take a turn, but this is group is for the users, BY the users, of the users! It's a two-way street. If you want to show files, please bring them on a USB drive. We'll have Creative Suite 5 on a Mac with a projector.

LOCATION. To be determined (after we confirm with our venue sponsors on their return from holidays). Likely either PSU or Northwest. We'll send another announcement as soon as we know.

SCHEDULE.

6:00 Snacks and socializing
6:30 Program
7:45 Introductions (brief round-robin), break and networking
8:45 Drawing. One attendee will get a book, donated by Peachpit. (To be entered in the drawing, you must be present from 6:30 through to the drawing.)

SAVE THE DATES. Meetings are on second Monday of each month.

Giveaways! POLICY
Some of our meetings include a drawing for a free product (yes, even though meetings cost nothing to attend). The winner usually gets software or a book.

THE BIG KAHUNA — and ELIGIBILITY
In May and November, the drawing is for Adobe Creative Suite, donated by Adobe.
To be eligible to win, you must:
** Attend at least one of the meetings in the five months prior.
** Also attend the meeting with the drawing.
This is a small group, so you get good odds!

OTHER GOODIES
Eligibility for non-big-Kahuna drawings is simply to attend the meeting where we hold the drawing.

DEFINITION of  "meeting attendance":
** You must be present from 6:30 to 8:45 pm.
 ** You must sign in.

-- Nancy and Angela, your volunteer co-managers

P.S. Got an idea for a presentation topic? Let's discuss it at the meeting and maybe we can set up a panel discussion, etc. Or bring a proposal to take on a meeting!
