Snowflake, Talend, Cloud (AWS/Azure), API, SQL, Snowflake, Data Analysis, Reporting, Data Validation, Data Lineage, ETL tools experience     

 

Job Description:

The client is specifically seeking candidates with 6–8+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise. The interview will be approximately one hour long and will include scenario-based questions designed to assess the candidate's practical skills and experience. Therefore, it is important that the profiles we submit are closely aligned with these requirements and demonstrate the necessary level of expertise.

• Data Analysis & Transformation
• Handle multi-format data ingestion including CSV, JSON, TXT, and Parquet files
• Interpret and document upstream-to-downstream data transformations across systems
• Source-to-Target Mapping (MapDocs)
• Create, maintain, and enhance Source-to-Target Mapping documents (STMs / MapDocs)
• Define detailed transformation logic, data rules, and field-level mappings
• Ensure traceability between source upstream systems and target platforms (Snowflake)
• Data Quality & Profiling
• Perform data profiling to evaluate
• Completeness
• Accuracy
• Consistency
• Data distribution patterns
• Design and implement data quality (DQ) checks to ensure integrity and reliability
• Proactively identify, track, and resolve data quality issues and anomalies
• Data Validation & Reconciliation
• Execute end-to-end data validation between source systems and Snowflake
• Perform data reconciliation to ensure data consistency across layers
• Support defect analysis, root cause identification, and resolution tracking
• Reporting & Monitoring
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for operational and business insights
• Monitor data pipelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with SLA/OLA commitments
• Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineering teams for ingestion and transformation processes
• Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation activities
• Partner with business stakeholders to:
• Clarify requirements
• Validate data accuracy
• Ensure reporting reliability
• Data Governance & Lineage
• Maintain data lineage documentation for audit, compliance, and governance
• Ensure transparency of data movement across systems and transformations
• Support governance standards and documentation practices
