Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior HR Integration Engineer with strong Workday integration expertise and a solid software engineering background. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting API-driven integrations between HR systems and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience beyond Workday configuration, with a strong engineering mindset and hands-on integration development.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of HR systems integration experience
• Workday Integrations
• API-driven integration development
• XML (structure, namespaces, schema validation)
• Integration security (ISU, ISSG)
• Experience integrating Workday with enterprise applications such as Yellow, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, and other HR platforms
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Data transformation and mapping
• Troubleshooting and debugging integrations
• Strong understanding of system integration architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise applications.
• Build scalable and secure HR system integrations using engineering best practices.
• Develop and troubleshoot XML-based integrations, including schema validation and namespace management.
• Configure and manage Workday integration security, including ISU and ISSG.
• Integrate Workday with third-party platforms such as Cornerstone, Qualtrics, Yellow, and other HR systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver reliable integration solutions.
• Maintain integration documentation and support ongoing enhancements.
• Follow software engineering best practices for testing, deployment, and support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and integration design experience.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in large enterprise HR environments.
