Job Description – Oracle Hyperion (HFM) Developer 

Location:  Mclean VA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Developer/Administrator with strong expertise in EPM applications, Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), and modern DevOps/cloud practices. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Hyperion applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of the EPM environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications.

• Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, security configurations, and data load rules.

• Manage HFM application lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Install, configure, and upgrade Hyperion components including server management, patching, and performance monitoring.

• Develop and customize applications using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS).

• Apply Redwood Design System (RDS) principles for modern Oracle UI development.

• Work with SQL and scripting for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

• Monitor and maintain EPM infrastructure performance and reliability.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.

• Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

• Utilize DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git for containerization and automation.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient environment provisioning and management.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

• Experience developing business rules, calculation scripts, and data integrations.

• Proficiency in Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS).

• Understanding of Redwood Design System (RDS) principles.

• Strong SQL and scripting skills.

• Experience managing EPM infrastructure and Hyperion environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Hyperion Financial Management 11 Certified Implementation Specialist certification.

• Oracle Redwood Application Developer Associate certification.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
