Job Title: CL/SuperSession Engineer (CA TPX Migration)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CL/SuperSession Engineer to support the migration from CA TPX to IBM CL/SuperSession. The role involves conversion of user profiles, screens, and scripts while ensuring seamless session management. This position focuses on infrastructure and session management migration and does not impact application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the migration from CA TPX to CL/SuperSession, including conversion of profiles, screens, and scripts.
- Configure, manage, and maintain the CL/SuperSession session management environment.
- Understand and implement various session selection methods within CL/SuperSession.
- Configure and manage trigger phrases and keys for user sessions.
- Install and configure CL/SuperSession and perform the IVP (Installation Verification Process).
- Manage and maintain CL/SuperSession libraries and components.
- Create and manage user and session definitions.
- Administer and navigate CL/SuperSession administrator dialogs and panels.
- Develop and maintain SSPL (SuperSession Programming Language) scripts and dialogs.
- Translate ISV software functions into CL/SuperSession-based solutions where applicable.
- Troubleshoot and support session management and connectivity issues.
- Work closely with z/OS infrastructure teams for system configuration and support.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with CL/SuperSession session management product.
- Experience in CA TPX to CL/SuperSession migration projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of CL/SuperSession SSPL programming and dialog development.
- Experience with session configuration, trigger phrases, and session selection methods.
- Strong understanding of CL/SuperSession commands and administrator dialogs.
- Knowledge of CL/SuperSession libraries and architecture.
- Experience with user and session definition management.
- Working knowledge of JCL and z/OS environment.
- Understanding of CL/SuperSession integration with VTAM.
