Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12+ Months

  

Job Description:

• Experience in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 for both online and batch applications, including analysis, coding, unit testing, and Migration.
• Strong working knowledge of CICS application programming, including COMMAREA, CICS screens.
• Experience in developing CICS web services with SOAP/REST Troubleshooting skills for production/ test issues such as CICS abends, DB2 SQL errors, time outs etc.
• An Application Developer with Mainframe Modernization expertise is well-versed in the fundamental concepts and technologies related to both mainframe systems and modernization.
• They possess the ability to develop codes for both in-place mainframe modernization and migration of mainframe applications to cloud platforms, including z-cloud.
• This skillset encompasses support for mainframe migration to other cloud environments.
• The developer is proficient in various technologies, such as COBOL systems, Java, JSON, API, Microservices, SaaS, Edge, Off-premises applications, network security, Kubernetes, DevOps, Db2, CICS, WebSphere, and MQ.
