Heya,
My name is Nishant Jacob and I am a Sophomore majoring in Product Design. I am currently working with the BASES EBootcamp conference team, which brings together students with entrepreneurial ideas from universities around the nation with founders, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists for an intensive entrepreneurship learning experience. We are conducting a design workshop for the 100 ebootcamp participants on idea brainstorming and the basics of the design process on Friday, April 8, 1:00-2:30 pm and are on the lookout for facilitators that can help us run the workshop. The facilitators just need to float around the room making sure all the groups are doing the right thing. It's a great way to get some experience facilitating design workshops, meeting cool budding entrepreneurs from around the country and veteran speakers. All the facilitators will be adequately briefed and trained so don't worry if you haven't facilitated before.

If you want to help facilitate I have created a sign up sheet so we can meet before the workshop to discuss roles and logistics. Please sign up for any one time slot here by Monday afternoon for an hour long (it'll probably just take 20 min if you've participated in a design workshop before) meeting in the lobby of Old Union. If none of the time slots work for you just email me and we'll figure something out.

I TA a class at that time and won't be able to help out. But, I wanted to reach out and say a quick hello! We met this summer in Orissa while doing some ethnographic research for Paul Pollack. I hope the rest of your summer was good and your sophomore year is going well!
It's a bit crazy lately getting ready for the MFA in Design show, Off The Table, that opens Tuesday. You should come to our reception on Thursday, April 14th from 5-7pm - it would be great to say hi and show you our projects!
