pdrtpy version 2.1.1 released!

Greetings!

We are happy to announce the newest release of the PDR Toolbox, pdrtpy. 

Co-released is a new version of the pdrtpy notebooks.

You can install the newest version 2.1.1 with pip install pdrtpy and download the notebooks from github.

Changes include:

1. H2 Excitation Ftting tool

• Completely rewritten fitting method now uses LMFIT package
• Now allows fitting of ortho-to-para ratio
• Compute total column densities using partition function
• Updating plotting capabilities
• New associated H2 Excitation Fitting notebook 

2.  Additional models added to Wolfire-Kaufman set:

•  CO(6-5) / CO(3-2)
•  [C II] 158 μm / FIR
•  [C II] 158 μm / CO(6-5)
•  [C II] 158 μm / CO(3-2)
•  [Fe II] 1.60 μm / [Fe II] 1.64 μm
•  [Fe II] 1.64 μm / [Fe II] 5.43 μm

3.   Measurements can now be read from tables, and can be formatted with Python f-strings

4.  Phase space plots can now do multiple data points

5. Improved documentation and issue fixes.
