Hello!

As community manager I'd like to welcome you to the PDO_4D community!

Whether you develop with 4D, PHP, or C, you'll appreciate the way
PDO_4D bridges powerful 4D databases with the ubiquity of PHP, and
this group is the hub dedicated to its discussion and development.

PDO_4D is completely open source – it started as an experiment during
the development of 4D v11 SQL and we're now calling upon everyone
interested in contributing to a stable 1.0 version of the driver for
the current and all future versions of 4D.

We invite everyone to download the driver, as well as the source, from
the PECL PHP extension library at: http://pecl.php.net/pdo_4d

Bug reports can be created and reviewed at PECL, as well.

Existing compiled builds of PDO_4D can be found at http://sources.4d.com/trac/4d_pdo4d
- and you may submit your own builds for inclusion by sending them to
php[at]4d[dot]com. (Contact me if you have any questions!)

Because PDO_4D is not an official 4D product support and testing of
the driver will come from the efforts of the developer community
itself. This is an opportunity for anyone and everyone who's
interested to take the lead in creating new builds, reporting and
fixing bugs, and forging ahead with PDO_4D as they see fit.

For those interested in supplying updates to the source itself, please
contact me directly or here on the forum, and we can work on moving
forward with new versions of PDO_4D.
