As PDO_MySQL, PDO_4D doesn't support SSL natively
For now, the only solution is to use a proxy which will embed the
communication into a SSL layer
Maybe this one could work:
http://barracudaserver.com/products/BarracudaDrive/BdProxy.lsp
The support of SSL may come globally in a future version of PDO (PDO
2.0 ?) or individually in future versions of PDO drivers.
