conducted two days workshop on Cloud Computing on 1-2 Oct 2011.

 Prof.Ravindra Dastikop, SDMCE, Dharwad was the Chief Guest. 

Dr.P.Khageshan, principal presided over.

 Prof.SM shashidhar, Karnataka State Managing Committe Member of ISTE, 

Prof.Vasantamma. Prof.Pravathi Kadli were present.

Cloud computing is a model of delivering computing resources from the Internet to the user. Computing resources:Hardware (processors, servers, memory, cards) Software- Applications, OS, service information - encyclopedia, search engine, computer connected to the net User, mobile user, Connected TV

Why is it called Cloud Computing ?

Because in network diagrams, the Internet is depicted as a cloud
