reactor mass balance

I know we are tracking FeCl3 but that extra HCL produced will need to be dealt  with by the addition of CaCo3 calcium carbonate.So we are going to have to add it to the mass balance. I will change the P&ID to have it  added directly into the reactor rather then to the main feed. Also Lei you mentioned back flow, isnt that only a problem if the feed is entering continuously? We decided to add and remove material in a batch baseis which allows us to first remove material and then in a controlled manner add fresh substrate.
CaCO_3(s) + 2 HCl_(aq) → CaCl_2(aq) + CO_2(g) + H₂O_(l)
