Hi Team,

We are using the PDFNetJs( 2.2.0 version) and facing attached error with IE11 some times randomly when we try to load a document in it. After this if try to select any other document then this error remain in viewer and other document does not load at all. To overcome this error we restart the IE11 broswer, clear the cache and reload the document. Can you please provide fix for this error?

Regards,
Pawan

Hi Pawan,

If you're loading larger files it may be possible to get into this state in IE11 which then causes IE to be stuck in a bad state for subsequent files. This is an issue in IE itself as you can see by the error message.

Are your PDF files linearized? We would recommend linearizing them as this will help all browsers load documents in a more efficient manner.

Hi Matt,

We are using PDFNetJs for annotation and view purpose in our product. Can you guide me how to linearize PDF files?

Hi Matt,

Can you please tell what is Linearizing? We are using PDFNetJs and using pdf type files to render on viewer. So, does PDFNetJs support linearization? We are using IIS7 on server side. So, what settings need to be done on IIS to support linearization?

Here's an example of how to linearize pdf files using PDFNet https://groups.google.com/d/msg/pdfnet-sdk/h_zoSC-2HOo/D1kFzcHhDQAJ
PDFNetJS supports saving files as linearized but for more efficient memory usage the file needs to be linearized before it is displayed in the viewer.
