Hi,

Can you please tell me what is the difference between signature and other annotations?

Can I just use FreeTextAnnotation to add text to viewer and then export and import xfdf to physical pdf as a signature?

Hello,

In WebViewer, the signature tool creates a FreeHandAnnotation with Subject set to "Signature" instead of "FreeHand", so it's not a special annotation type.

If you wanted to make something that looks like a signature using a FreeTextAnnotation, then that's perfectly fine.
