Why am I suddenly seeing "PDFNet Cloud Connect: Provided credentials are incorrect"?

Q:

I'm using PWS On-Premises (https://www.pdftron.com/pws/onpremise.html).  Everything was working, but now suddenly I'm seeing the error message "PDFNet Cloud Connect: Provided credentials are incorrect" and it doesn't work anymore.  But I'm able to log into https://api.pdftron.com/v2/console/user/index.xhtml, so it doesn't seem like PWS is down.  What's going on?

It appears that you are being blocked from further operations due to overage protection.

What needs to be done is either:
and disable overage protection, or increase the max allowed document.

Or upgrade to a higher plan.
