Q: We noticed that sometimes PDF/A Conversion (pdftron.PDF.PDFA.PDFACompliance) yields different results in Java and .Net when converted to PDF/A-1 level1A. Why is this?

A: Because PDF/A conversion may involve font embedding, so converting the same file on different systems (or operating systems) may result in different font substitutions and as a result different PDF/A’s.
