Validation error e_PDFA381: The font dictionary is missing 'ToUnicode' entry

Our client complains that after conversion to PDF/A-1A, he gets this error (taken from the report.xml):
<Error Code="e_PDFA381" Message="The font dictionary is missing 'ToUnicode' entry" Refs="54"/>
I asked him for the original PDF file, but on my PC, the revalidation result is "PASS". Can anyone explain me what could be the reason? Is it some font that is installed in my PC and not in the customer's? I cannot attach the PDF file since it contains some confidential information...
