PDF Flattener is a new option (enabled by default) that can be used to optimize SVG output for a faster viewing experience on any SVG reader. Flattener can simplify page content (e.g. flattening complex graphics into images) while maintaining vector text whenever possible. See the PDF2SVG manual for more details on usage.
OpenType font support added. Since browser support is better for OpenType than SVG fonts, expect better cross browser support and performance with OpenType fonts.
Fonts are now shared between SVG pages by default, improving performance by allowing browsers to cache the font resources. Fonts can still be embedded in each page, which combined with image embedding, allows for true self enclosed SVG files.
Starting with the latest version of PDF2SVG, conversions can be used based on a pay-as-you-go model. Instead of having to obtain an OEM license, you can simply pay for conversions you actually make. For more information about using PDF2SVG based on 'pay-as-you-go' model, please see PWS as well as the PDF2SVG manual.
