Does PDF to SVG preserve hyperlinks during the conversion?

Q: I noticed that hyperlinks are sometimes not preserved during PDF to
SVG conversion.

Is hyperlink preservation disabled in the trial version? Or is it
because the particular PDF is an exceptional case that causes PDF2SVG
to stumble?

A: PDF2SVG (http://www.pdftron.com/pdf2svg) does preserve/output
hyperlinks, so the problem may be related with a specific type of
annotation. Please note that in some cases Acrobat can recognize that
a piece of text is a hyperlink (e.g. because it starts with ‘http://’
or ‘www.’) when the PDF itself does not contain a hyperlink
annotation. If you would like that we confirm this for your file, you
can send a sample PDF to our tech. support.
