Q: Why is the color produced by PDF2Image a bit different from Acrobat
on some files?

A: The main reason for the difference is that the newer version is
enabling color management by default (and is most likely using a
different target color profile than your Acrobat? setting). We will
most likely add extra options to tweak color management (as part of
PDF2Image), but in the meantime you could also use PDFNet SDK (http://
www.pdftron.com/pdfnet/) which PDF2Image is based on. PDFNet offer all
options in PDF2Image, plus ability to tweak color management, color-
profiles, and much more (http://www.pdftron.com/pdfnet/features.html).
