pls. help spread the word about our new drop locations for 2012.  we still have some spots open and would love to fill them with like minded folks.  

we will be announcing this years events lineup and would love to share our progress of putting many permaculture principles into action.

Join the Growing Heart Farm CSA to share a garden of local veggies picked fresh and delivered to your neighborhood.

Current 2012 pickups locations are WEDNESDAY EVENINGS @: 

- Astor Place/ EAST VILLAGE - Curious Pictures 5-7PM 440 lafayette st  

- SOHO - Nathan Love 6-8PM 407 broome st
- GREENPOINT - Golden Drum 6-8PM 97 green st. (@ franklin)

- PARK SLOPE - 8th Ave (between Prospect Ave and 17th St)

The season is 20 weeks from June to October and share size will vary with harvest averaging 2 grocery bags of produce each week. Shares are $650 and can be split into a half share.

The Farm and our Community 

Growing Heart Farm is dedicated to sustainable living and education in the New York City Region.  We deliver our CSA shares to NYC and Brooklyn once a week from spring to fall and sell at the Beacon Farmer’s Market.  The farm hosts frequent events and retreats and is conveniently located on the edge of the country within walking distance of the harlem valley wingdale metro north train station 75 miles north of the city.

We practice small scale sustainable agriculture using  hand tools, solar power, spring water, and a wood heated greenhouse.  Learn about our hybrid flavor of farm life on our blog.  Join us and grow with us as we all re-learn to live in balance.
