INTERNET BANKING MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER
POSITION SUMMARY:
Online Banking Middleware Engineer is responsible for developing and
maintaining a multithreaded C++ middleware transaction server. Must be able
to harness OOP/OOD skills to develop new server architectures and maintain
existing technologies. Familiarity with multithreading, TCP/IP, XML, STL, and
SQL databases necessary for success in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·Maintains and supports a middleware transaction server written in C++.
Works with other server engineers and management to develop new features and
optimize/troubleshoot current functionality.
·Evaluates and improves performance of server under normal and stressed
conditions.
·Interfaces with customers and with Netzee technical support team and
software quality assurance team as necessary.
·Implements timely software solutions to requirements.
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:
·Ability to work with a wide variety of communication protocols.
·Skills in SQL, TCP/IP, multi-threading and Standard Template Library
required.
·Strong skills in C++ must be demonstrated.
·Other skills required are MFC, OOP, MS Dev Studio and NT.
·Experience with XML, Solaris, and Java beneficial but not required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
·Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience required.
·BSEE or BSCE, or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Compensation commensurate with experience. On-site position; local candidates
prefered, but others will be considered too.
