INTERNET BANKING PROD. SR. SW QA ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY:
Works directly with development, customers and technical support to: track
open issues found during the testing phase of the product life cycle; test
and debug software as a result of these issues; manage configuration issues;
debug network architectures; and basic scripting as required. Resolving
complex testing issues and writing complex test plans and procedures. Lead
and mentor more junior QA staff members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·Leads and mentors more junior members of the software quality assurance
team.
·Assists manager in aggressively meeting test scheduling and project plan
goals, engaging more junior members in this process.
·Interfaces with development to demonstrate and resolve discrepancies.
·Interfaces with customers and with Netzee technical support team as
necessary.
·Regularly contributes to risk assessments on projects, leading others as
required in this function.
·Writes and executes test plans.
·Tracks testing progress and resolves issue conflicts.
·Tracks open issues found during the testing phase of the product life cycle.
·Reads and critiques documentation (i.e. manuals, release notes, etc.).
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:
·Contributes to creating aggressive schedules and project plans without
compromising system integrity.
·Hands on experience with automated test tools such as Win Runner, Load
Runner, or SQL/SQA Robot.
·Skilled in scripting languages for automated test tools which requires
skills beyond just playback experience. Must have data-driven scripting
experience.
·XML skills required.
·Ability to debug network architectures (i.e. client/server).
·Black box and white box testing.
·Configuration management issues experience, specifically with Windows
registry. Some basic SQL skills preferable.
·Proactive in addressing testing issues.
·Strong technical writing skills.
·Ability to communicate effectively and articulately.
·Proven experience working efficiently in a multi-tasking environment.
·Skilled at using PVCS Tracker and/or PVCS Version Manager for source
control.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
·Minimum of 5 years of applicable industry experience required.
·BSEE or BSCE, or equivalent preferred, but not required.
·Experience in the financial industry a plus, but not required.
·Strong organizational experience and skills required. This should include
experience in driving the testing/QA process from a lead perspective,
mentoring others, ability to create forms to be used by the team and the
ability to establish procedures where necessary.
Compensation commensurate with experience. On-site position; local candidates
prefered, but others will be considered too.
