Sounds like someone wired the changer to the SWITCHED power supply. My
Pioneer 6 disk ejects with radio off and car off.

I'm not sure if there is a manual override, but a friend of mine has
been in the car audio business for many years and I have seen his method
in these situations. The removal of the changer unit and then the
subsequent dissassembly of the casing is required to gain access to the
motors and physically turn them by hand until the cartridge can be
removed. it may be necessary to physically force a CD back into the
cartridge during this procedure.
Good luck!!!

On the Alpine Cd Changers you just slide a card underneath the Cd cassette and it pops right out.

Yep I agree there :) I have just installed a Pioneer 6 stack and in the
instructions it clearly states that the CD Stacker Unit must be connected
to a Permanant Power Sorce (Regardless of IGN Switch/Radio power)

On the six disc changer, you wil see a button to eject the cd-magazine.
Once the black cd-daddy or magazine is in your hand, you will see the
gray colored trays, which hold the cd's in place. Holding the black cd-
caddy or magazine in your left hand you will see on the endge of the
caddy little fins or tabs protuding from the edge of the gray trays.
Placing your thumb against the tab push away from your body the the gray
tray will open the trick is you can only do one tray at a time. Trying to
open more than one tray at a time will result in death. No wait thats not
true. It will only prevent any of the trays to open.

I'm sure johnny boys' joking. in reality, take it to a local
dealer with pioneer, just plug in the changer and they'll pop
out. Even if there was a manual "pop-out" eject, there could be
a disk stuck in the playing mechanism,

whatever you do, don't open it up yourself, you could void any
warranty you have. Just take it to any store. Doesn't Best buy
or circuit city carry pioneer? Remove your CD changer from your
car and take it to one of them....
