alphabet with a hinged lid, lifing as covers swing open to reveal Jack
and his twenty-six namesakes (Jack Ass, Jack Boot, Jack-in-the-Cellar,
etc.). Linoleum cut illustrations, design, printing and binding by
Maryline Poole Adams. Black cloth with decorative title lables, fine
paper. 2 7/8" x 2 1/4". Includes prospectus. $225.00

[#1834] DES FUHRERS KAMPF IN FRANKREICH. Heinrich Hoffmann, 1940. Wraps,
Miniature, (Photographic illust.) Good: tear to rear wrap else Very
Good. A miniature book of photographs of Hitler in France, published
for the German Red Cross. Cover shows Hitler in front of the Eiffel
Tower. Interior photographs include a Panzer tank, Stuka planes, heavy
guns, German soldiers at the Arc, El Duce and Hitler 'welcomed' by
French citizens, and more. Also features a map of the German Reich near
its full expansion. An interesting record of how Nationalist Socialism
saw itself when it was almost on top of the world in miniature form.
