Publishing combines two simple processes under one roof: Manufacturing,
and marketing.
We publish in four formats:
1. Paperback Books.
2. Floppy Disk.
3. Libraries on a CD-ROM.
4. Audio Books on Cassette Tape.
The Manufacturing process of a paper back book is the most complicated
and includes editing, type-setting, getting copyrights in the authors
name, assigning ISBN numbers, and the mechanical steps of creating the
shippable product; printed books, CD-ROM's, floppy disks.
The marketing process starts with the listing of each title in the
worldwide ISBN data base which is used by all book sellers and
libraries. The listings tell the buyer how to acquire the publication,
including how much it costs, and where and how to order. Marketing also
includes promotion and advertising.
The more unique aspects of our publishing evolve from our production and
distribution formats:
1. Paperback Books can be produced in low volume via computerized
techniques which print, and assemble full sized products at the rate of
twenty per hour. Of course where order quantities demand it, we can
utilize conventional printing methods. Conventional publishing
methodology require a sizable investment before the first copy is bound;
our computerized system does not.
2. Internet Browsers such as NETSCAPE, NETCOMPLETE, InternetExplorer,
and many others make reading a "book" on Floppy or CD-ROM a delightful
alternative to the old paper book. Browsers allow the publisher to
include illustrations, sound, and even video clips. You do not need to
be "Online" to enjoy the use of many browsers.
3. The storage capacity of a CD-ROM offers the publisher an opportunity
to sell entire collections or "Libraries" of titles.
4. Specialized software enables us to rapidly convert plain text to html
documents, or plain text to type-setting format for printing.
5. We utilize the latest in communications for almost instant assignment
of both ISBN numbers and Library of Congress numbers.
6. We advertise and promote your book by E-mail to retail book stores,
by US Postal Service mail, by providing synopsis of your work to book
critics, and when warranted, arrange for book signings at retail
outlets.
7. We sell retail, accept checks and charge cards, process all orders,
and send the author his "Royalty" check quarterly.
8. We notify the author by E-Mail of all sales the same day the sale is
made.
Most publishers take from 3 months to a year to go from "We'll publish
your book" to "We are shipping your book". As a test of our ability we
took a new text provided on floppy disk, written in Microsoft Word,
processed it, obtained the Library of Congress Copyright Number,
assigned the ISBN Number, printed, and bound the book ready for shipment
in just 48 hours.
If the product is CD-ROM or Floppy, the production time (and cost) is
even less.
WANT TO SEE YOUR WORK PUBLISHED? Just follow these simple steps:
1. Send AUTH...@aol.com a request for our format requirements. You will
receive that document, by E-Mail, within 12 hours. Put "FORMAT INFO" in
the subject line of your E-Mail request.
2. Send AUTHOR22 PUBLISHING your finished manuscript by E-Mail, or on
Floppy Disk.
* a. Work should be fully edited and ready for publication.
* b. Plain text is preferred. MSWord .doc is acceptable.
* c. Prefer E-mail attachments. Zipped or plain.
* d. Include all illustrations.
* e. E-Mail to AUTH...@aol.com.

3. You will receive an E-Mail acknowledgement within 24 hours.
4. If we agree to publish your book we will send you a contract which
specifies the royalty fee. Once the contract is signed we will add your
title to our listings, assign an ISBN number to it, and send you a copy
of the paper back book.
5. If we say "No", you may over-ride our decision by underwriting our
costs. That cost would be about $250.00, and would give you 10 paperback
copies for your own distribution. You, also have the option (at no
additional charge) of having us apply for the Library of Congress
copyright number, assign the ISBN number, and list it in the world wide
database.
6. We maintain a retail outlet web page where buyers can inspect the
first chapter of a book, and order it by E-Mail. This usually means the
product is paid for in advance and shipped within 24 hours. Once we have
accepted your book for publication you will see it listed on our web
page within 24 hours.
