Good in Very Good dust jacket. The Native peoples of Alaska, the
discovery of Alaska by Russia, the Gold Rush of 1897, the purchase of
Alaska by the United States and much more are in this readable young
reader. With full color and black & white illustrations by Kurt Wiese.
Although small tears to jacket head and bumps to cover tail, this book
is still conservatively Very Good. OP. $37.50

& Co. Ltd., [1960]. Wraps, 4to, 7 pp. ([Kubasta, Vojtech] illust.) Very
Good. From the Panascopic Model Books series of pop-ups by V. Kubasta.
Out of print. Canvas tape binding separating, rubbing to edges, gift
inscription (identifying date of publication as 1960), pop-up Near
Fine. V. Kubasta is described as 'remarkably innovative' by Montanaro
and was the featured artist / author of the January 1997 issue of
Biblio magazine. A Native American scene through East European eyes:
bits and pieces of many nations joined in pop-up form. Wigwams, a
moving weaver and moving dancers, totem pole and masked dancers, canoes
and woven blankets... very colorful, large and beautiful. Scarce in any
condition, conservatively presented as Very Good. $350.00
