All progressives are invited and urged to participate in the People's Conference on the Fight for Jobs, Peace, Equality, and Justice on Saturday, Oct. 19.  The conference will be held at the Paul Robeson Center at Rutgers located at 350 MLK Jr Blvd.  Newark, NJ from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Speakers include Chris Hedges, Journalist, Glen Ford, Black Agenda Report, and Melodie Chouinard, Student Activist from Canada. Speakers are first on the agenda.

The flyer and registration form for the Oct. 19 POP Conference is attached.  The Conference is free, but we are requesting that people pay $10.00 for the box lunch.  It is important to register in advance so that enough food can be ordered.

Issues to be discussed and voted upon include: Jobs For All, Healthcare For All, Housing, Immigrant Rights, Environmental Justice, Mass Incarceration, Peace, Workers Rights and much more.  The purpose of the conference is to develop action plans for the People's Agenda for Economic Justice.

We look forward to seeing you on the 19th of October.  Mary Ellen Marino NJ PDA & NJ Progressive Caucus
